Cuppa Slice

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 cup coconut, dessicated or shredded
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar or 3/4 cup raw sugar
  • 1/2 cup raisins (or any dried fruit, more or less according to your taste)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (more or less according to your taste)

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients together
  • 2 place in slice tin
  • 3 bake in a moderate oven (180c) 25 - 30 minutes
  • 4 cool in tin, slice and then dust with icing sugar
  • 5 variation: add 1 or 1 and a half chopped green apples and some cinnamon in place of dried fruit and chocolate
  • 6 serve hot with custard
