Dried Fruit Balls

Total Time: 4 hrs 25 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried dates
  • 1/2 cup dried calimyrna fig
  • 1/2 cup prunes or 1/2 cup dried apricot
  • 1/2 cup raisins (regular or golden)
  • 1 cup crushed walnuts or 1 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup flaked coconut

Recipe

  • 1 in a food processor, finely chop dates, figs, prunes/apricots and raisins.
  • 2 in a medium bowl, mix chopped fruit with nuts and seeds.
  • 3 stir in lemon juice.
  • 4 shape into 1/2-1" balls.
  • 5 roll in coconut.
  • 6 dry in your dehydrator at 135º for 4 to 6 hours, or until crisp on the outside.
