Gluten-free Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped or sliced nuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 350°f.
  • 2 pour almond butter into bowl, add sugar.
  • 3 add the egg, baking soda, maple syrup, almond extract and salt. mix until well blended.
  • 4 add the nuts. (i like to use a combination of sliced almonds and chopped macadamia nuts.).
  • 5 add the chocolate chips.
  • 6 roll the dough into balls and space them out on a buttered cookie sheet. (i prefer to use non-stick cookies sheets.).
  • 7 bake in the oven for 10 minutes, longer if needed.
  • 8 enjoy!
