Gluten-free Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup coconut sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chopped or sliced nuts
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 350°f.
- 2 pour almond butter into bowl, add sugar.
- 3 add the egg, baking soda, maple syrup, almond extract and salt. mix until well blended.
- 4 add the nuts. (i like to use a combination of sliced almonds and chopped macadamia nuts.).
- 5 add the chocolate chips.
- 6 roll the dough into balls and space them out on a buttered cookie sheet. (i prefer to use non-stick cookies sheets.).
- 7 bake in the oven for 10 minutes, longer if needed.
- 8 enjoy!
