- 1 cup long grain rice
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup dried coconut
Recipe
- 1 in a 2-quart pot bring the water and salt to a boil.
- 2 stir in the dry rice, cinnamon, and the coconut. stir and return the water to a boil.
- 3 reduce the heat to the lowest possible flame. place the lid on the pot and simmer for 20 minutes. do not peek while the rice is cooking.
