Lazy Daisy Cake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half cream
  • 2 cups flaked coconut

Recipe

  • 1 in a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla until thick and pale yellow, about 4 minutes.
  • 2 combine the flour, baking powder and salt; add to egg mixture and beat just until combined.
