Gumdrop Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup cut up gumdrop
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- 2 cream together the margarine, brown sugar and sugar.
- 3 blend in the vanilla and eggs.
- 4 in a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, oatmeal and salt.
- 5 gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture.
- 6 stir in the coconut and cut up gumdrops.
- 7 drop by teaspoonful onto greased baking sheets.
- 8 bake 10-12 minutes.
- 9 note:dipping scissors in hot water before cutting up the gumdrops helps them cut easier.
- 10 either the big gumdrops or the little spice drops work well.
