Honey Tortoni

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 cup fine dry breadcrumb
  • 2/3 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups cool whip or 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup honey

Recipe

  • 1 combine bread crumbs, coconut and almonds in a 9 x 13" pan and toast at 450f until golden, taking care not to scorch.
  • 2 stir in butter and sugar; chill.
  • 3 blend cool whip and honey; add crumb mixture and stir until just blended.
  • 4 spoon into paper or foil baking cups and freeze until firm or overnight.
  • 5 for parfait version, alternate layers of crumb mixture and whipped topping; freeze.
