Granola

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 18
  • 2 cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
  • 2 cups whole grain wheat flakes cereal
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 combine the first 8 ingredients in an ungreased 13 x 9 pan; mix well and set aside.
  • 2 melt together butter, honey and vanilla in a small pan over low heat.
  • 3 pour this over the dry mixture, tossing to coat.
  • 4 bake 350 for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • 5 let cool and store in an airtight container.
  • 6 sprinkle over yogurt for a tasty breakfast.
