Easy Hawaiian Cake With Icing

Ingredients

- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar (i use 1 and 3/4)
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 (20 ounce) can undrained crushed pineapple
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Recipe
- 1 for cake: mix all ingredients together by hand.
- 2 pour into greased 9x13x2 inch pan.
- 3 if using glass pan, bake at 325 degrees.
- 4 otherwise, bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
- 5 check for doneness using toothpick.
- 6 for icing: mix all ingredients together and frost cool cake.
- 7 keep in refrigerator.
- 8 will keep for a long time.
