Good-for-you Granola Bars

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 cup natural-style peanut butter, unsalted
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups flax seed meal
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 combine honey, peanut butter, oil, vanilla, and egg in large bowl and mix well.
- 3 add flaxseed meal, cinnamon, salt and mix well.
- 4 add remaining ingredients and mix till it is all combined.
- 5 press into a 13x9-inch baking pan that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray (or line the pan with foil and spray the foil).
- 6 bake for 25-35 minutes, until the edges are beginning to brown.
- 7 let cool completely, transfer to cutting board and cut into bars.
