Lemon And Coconut Rum Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 teaspoon coconut rum (i used captain morgan)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons milk (i used whole milk)
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and honey together in a large bowl.
- 2 then add milk gradually (you may not need to use the entire 1 1/2 tsps, it all depends on the consistency you want to achieve).
- 3 finally add the lemon extract and coconut rum and blend into frosting.
- 4 frost your cupcakes or cake.
- 5 i found that the frosting thickened a bit once it settled. also, i feel it tasted much better after i had chilled the cupcakes a bit.
- 6 enjoy.
