Chili Choc Muesli Bars

Total Time: 3 hrs 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 1 tablespoon chili
  • 1 teaspoon red paprika
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup poppy seed
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 150 g butter
  • 1/2 cup malt extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 135 g dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup orange peel
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter, malt extract, sugar and vanilla in a pot.
  • 2 mix with the dry ingredients and lay down in a baking tin.
  • 3 melt the chocolate and spread over the mixed seeds in the tin.
  • 4 sprinkle with chili, paprika and salt.
  • 5 put in the fridge to cool down for 3 hours, then cut into squares.
