Kossmans Coconut Peanut Brittle Darlene

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 lbs spanish peanuts, raw
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups coconut, raw

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugar ,water, corn syrup,salt and peanuts it says1/2 sack here
  • 2 until it spins a long thread 290 on candy themomoter cook until butterscotch brown.
  • 3 remove from heat
  • 4 add butter size of walnut 2 rounded teaspoons of soda vanilla and coconut stir thoughly.
