Granola With Honey And Coconut Oil

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 5 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 1/4 cup flax seed (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened preferred ingredient ) (optional)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 325. place oats, nuts, flax seed and coconut in the baking pan. melt coconut oil; mix in the honey, vanilla, almond extract and salt. pour over oats and nuts and mix well. bake for 15 minutes and stir; 15 minutes and stir. repeat until at desired browness. take out and add dried fruit as desired.
