Granola With Honey And Coconut Oil

Ingredients
- 5 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 cup mixed nuts
- 1/4 cup flax seed (optional)
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened preferred ingredient ) (optional)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (optional)
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 325. place oats, nuts, flax seed and coconut in the baking pan. melt coconut oil; mix in the honey, vanilla, almond extract and salt. pour over oats and nuts and mix well. bake for 15 minutes and stir; 15 minutes and stir. repeat until at desired browness. take out and add dried fruit as desired.
