Granola With Candied Ginger

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened flaked coconut
  • 1/3 cup flax seed
  • 1/3 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup chopped candied ginger
  • 1 teaspoon powdered ginger

Recipe

  • 1 toast oats, almonds and walnuts in a wok or deep skillet for about 5 min over low heat. stir often.
  • 2 add raisins and coconut. toast 3 min, stirring.
  • 3 add flax seeds, wheat germ, candied ginger and powdered ginger. stir constantly to prevent burning.
  • 4 it's done! serve with fresh fruit and yogurt or milk.
