Haka Taro [cooked Taro]

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 large taro root
- 400 g coconut cream
- 1/2 onion
- salt, to taste
Recipe
- 1 place pot on stove and add two cups water over medium heat.
- 2 use knife to remove skin off taro.
- 3 wash taro and knife before placing taro on cutting board.
- 4 cut in half then cut into smaller pieces.
- 5 put taro into potwith sufficient water to cover most pieces.
- 6 cover and boil until taro is almost tender when pierced with a fork.
- 7 chop onion and add to cup of coconut cream/milk then add pinch of of salt for taste before pouring it over taro when almost cooked.
