Gloria's Granola

Ingredients

- 6 cups uncooked quick oats
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/3 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries
Recipe
- 1 place oats in ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan. bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
- 2 remove and blend in remaining dry ingredients (brown sugar through walnuts).
- 3 add oil honey and vanilla; mix until dry ingredients are well coated. divide mixture into two equal parts; bake each separately in an ungreasted 9x13-inch baking pan 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beginning to brown. add dried cranberries; cook 5 minutes longer.
- 4 stir until crumbly and store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
