Fabulous Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup flour
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans
• 1/2 cup coconut
• 1/4 cup melted butter
• 3 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 eggs, well beaten
• 1/2 cup butter, melted

Recipe

• 1 combine brown sugar, flour, pecans, butter and coconut. set aside .this is the crust.
• 2 combine mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, salt, vanilla, eggs and butter. beat thoroughly.
• 3 pour into a greased baking dish.
• 4 bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. at this point dish can be covered and refrigerated.
• 5 sprinkle the surface of the sweet potato mixture evenly with the crust mixture and return to oven for 10 minutes.
• 6 allow to set at least 30 minutes before serving.
