Mary's Yum Yum Cake

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Recipe

  • 1 mix all cake ingredients together.
  • 2 bake in a greased and floured 9x13 pan for 35-40 min at 350 degrees.
  • 3 to make frosting: add to sauce pan, margarine, sugar and evaporated milk. bring to a boil and boil for approximately 5 minute remove from heat and stir in coconut and nuts.
  • 4 pour the frosting on the hot cake.
