Granny's Angel Flake Cake

Ingredients

• Servings: 8
• 1 cup butter
• 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
• 3 cups sugar
• 5 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 3 1/2 cups flour
• 1 cup milk
• 3 1/2 ounces flaked coconut

Recipe

• 1 cream together the sugar, butter and shortening.
• 2 add eggs one at a time.
• 3 add vanilla, stirring until combined.
• 4 add the flour and milk, alternating a little milk as each cup of flour is blended in stir in flaked coconut.
• 5 bake in tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
