Millet Delight

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 cup uncooked millet
  • 1/2 cup soy milk powder
  • 5 1/2 cups hot water
  • 2/3 cup chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 15 mins

    Ready Time: 1 hr 30 mins

  • preheat oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees c).
  • combine millet, soy milk powder, hot water, chopped dates, coconut, and vanilla in a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
  • bake casserole in preheated oven for 30 minutes, then remove and stir. return casserole to oven and bake an additional 30 minutes. serve hot.
