Gardenia Pie
Ingredients
- Servings: 1
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons distilled vinegar
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1 (9 inch) pie shell
Recipe
- preheat oven to 325 degrees f (175 degrees c).
- in a large bowl, combine sugar, salt, eggs, vinegar and melted butter. beat well. fold in pecans, raisins and coconut.
- pour into unbaked pie shell. bake on lower rack in oven at 325 degrees f (165 degrees c) for 30 minutes. top should brown lightly.
- store in refrigerator.
