Chococonut Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups flaked coconut

    Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins Ready Time: 20 mins

  • preheat the oven to 375 degrees f (190 degrees c).
  • in a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. fold in chocolate chips and coconut. drop by rounded spoonfuls cookie sheets.
  • bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
