white chocolate strawberry ghosts

Ingredients

  • Servings: 30
  • 3 (12 ounce) packages white chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 3 quarts strawberries
  • 2 (12 ounce) packages semisweet chocolate chips

Recipe

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Ready Time: 15 mins

  • melt white chocolate and coconut oil in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching.
  • dip strawberries in melted white chocolate mixture; set on waxed paper-lined baking sheet to dry.
  • melt semisweet chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching. pour chocolate into a pastry bag with a small tip or a plastic bag with a small corner cut off.
  • pipe eyes and and open mouth on the dried white chocolate dipped strawberries to make a 'face'.
