Holiday Eight-layer Bars

Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 1 (9 ounce) package chocolate wafer cookies
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 (11 ounce) package peanut butter and milk chocolate chips
- 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup red and green m&m's plain chocolate candy
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- 2 spread nuts over ungreased baking sheet;bake until lightly browned,3-4 minutes.
- 3 cool.
- 4 line 13 by 9-inch baking pan with heavy-duty foil; coat with cooking spray.
- 5 in food processor process cookies and sugar until fine crumbs form; stir in butter.
- 6 press into bottom of pan.
- 7 sprinkle with peanut butter and milk chocolate chips, then semi-sweet chips; sprinkle with nuts, then half of coconut.
- 8 pour milk over coconut; sprinkle with remaining coconut.
- 9 bake 25-30 minutes or until chocolate is melted and coconut is toasted.
- 10 immediately sprinkle with m&ms; press to adhere.
- 11 cool completely in pan.
- 12 refrigerate until cold, 2 hours; cut into bars.
