Kima

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 raw potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 teaspoons curry
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • hot cooked rice
  • flaked coconut

Recipe

  • 1 in skillet cook beef, onion, and garlic till meat is browned; pour off fat.
  • 2 stir in remaining ingredients except coconut and rice.
  • 3 cover; simmer 20-25 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • 4 sprinkle with coconut.
  • 5 serve with hot cooked rice.
