Honey Oat Bars

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups porridge oats
  • 2 cups sultanas
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1 cup demerara sugar
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 8 ounces butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter and honey together and stir in the dry ingredients.
  • 2 press into a 9x12" tray and bake at 160c for 25-30 minutes.
  • 3 use knife to mark into 16 bars while still warm to make cutting easier when cooled.
  • 4 bars will keep for several days in airtight container.
