Grilled Caribbean Pound Cake Dessert

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 1 min Cook Time: 4 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/4 cup coconut rum (or any fruit flavor)
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 poundcake, sliced thick
  • 2 pints butter pecan ice cream (or choice flavor)
  • 2 mangoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 papayas, peeled and sliced

Recipe

  • 1 in a small bowl, mix rum and butter. brush each slice of cake generously on both sides.
  • 2 grill about 2 minutes per side, turning with a spatula very carefully so it does not break apart.
  • 3 transfer to serving dishes and top with ice cream and mango/papaya slices.
