Easy Coconut Pie

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
- 2 cups coconut
- 3 eggs (separated)
- 1 (9 inch) pie crusts
Recipe
- 1 mix sugar and flour together in saucepan.
- 2 add milk.
- 3 over low heat, bring to boil.
- 4 add eggs yolks, butter and both flavorings.
- 5 bring to boil again.
- 6 remove from heat and add coconut in baked pie shell.
- 7 pour coconut filling into pie shell.
- 8 use egg whites for meringue if desired.
