Easy Coconut Pie

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
  • 2 cups coconut
  • 3 eggs (separated)
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crusts

Recipe

  • 1 mix sugar and flour together in saucepan.
  • 2 add milk.
  • 3 over low heat, bring to boil.
  • 4 add eggs yolks, butter and both flavorings.
  • 5 bring to boil again.
  • 6 remove from heat and add coconut in baked pie shell.
  • 7 pour coconut filling into pie shell.
  • 8 use egg whites for meringue if desired.
