Ginger Spiked Apple Cider Compote

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • fresh ginger (2 slices, 1/4 inch)
  • 6 firm apples, peeled cored and quartered

Recipe

  • 1 in slow cooker, combine apple cider, coconut sugar and ginger. add apples and stir well.
  • 2 cover and cook on high for 2 hours. transfer to a serving dish and chill.
