Golden Snacking Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 1/2 cups slivered almonds or 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (300 g) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (regular)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup banana chips (optional)
  • 1 cup raisins

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 300°f in large bowl, combine oats, almonds, coconut, sunflower seeds, wheat germ, sesame seeds, cinnamon and salt. pour in sweetened condensed milk and oil. mix to combine.
  • 2 spread evenly in aluminum foiled lined 15x10-inch jellyroll pan or baking sheet.
  • 3 bake 50-55 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. remove from oven; stir in banana chips (optional) and raisins.
  • 4 cool completely. store leftovers lightly covered at room temperature.
