German Chocolate Upside Down Cake

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 ounce) box german chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1/3 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 1/3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 (16 ounce) box confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 (15 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (eagle brand preferred)
  • 1 (12 ounce) can coco lopez or 1 (12 ounce) can cream of coconut

Recipe

  • 1 spread coconut and pecans in bottom of greased 9x13 inch pan.
  • 2 mix and bake cake as directed on box.
  • 3 cool.
  • 4 punch holes in cake.
  • 5 mix eagle brand milk and cocoa lopez and pour over cake.
  • 6 frost with cool whip and top with shredded coconut.
