Grandma Ruth's Strawberry Cake, Icing Recipe Follows...

Ingredients

• Servings: 12
• 1 (18 ounce) package cake mix
• 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert
• 1 cup vegetable oil
• 1/2 cup milk
• 4 eggs
• 1 (10 ounce) package strawberries (thawed with juice)
• 1 cup coconut
• 1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Recipe

• 1 sift together cake mix and jell-o.
• 2 add the oil and milk mix well.
• 3 add the eggs one at a time beating well.
• 4 stir in the strawberries, coconut, and the pecans.
• 5 pour into a 13 x 9 pan. bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. pour frosting over the cake while still hot. let cool, slice and eat! yum!
