Ingredients
- 150 g butter
- 1 teaspoon golden syrup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup dates, chopped
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 3/4 cup weetabix, crushed
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 180°c.
- 2 melt butter, golden syrup and brown sugar.
- 3 add to dry ingredients.
- 4 mix well and press into greased swiss roll tray.
- 5 bake at for 15-20 minutes.
- 6 while hot spread caramel icing over and cut while warm.
- 7 caramel icing:.
- 8 in a pot melt brown sugar, milk and butter, then bring to boil.
- 9 beat with wooden spoon till thickens and pour over cake immediately.
