Easy Thai Coconut Custard

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°.
  • 2 beat the eggs together, 1 at a time.
  • 3 gradually add sugar, milk and salt; beat well.
  • 4 in double broiler,stirring constantly, cook mixture until soft and texture resembles scrambled eggs.
  • 5 pour mixture in a small casserole dish and bake 1/2 hour.
  • 6 when baked, brown custard under broiler.
