Earthquake Cake

Ingredients

- 1 cup coconut
- 1 (18 ounce) box german chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 1/3 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 1 1/3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 1 lb confectioners' sugar
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
- 2 grease and flour 9x13-inch pan.
- 3 spread coconut and pecans on bottom of pan.
- 4 prepare cake mix as directed on box and pour over coconut and pecans.
- 5 in separate bowl mix cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar until creamy.
- 6 drop by tablespoonfuls on top of cake mix.
- 7 bake for 45 minutes and wait to see the earthquake.
