- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Recipe
- 1 in a medium saucepan, combine the half and half, butter, sugar, yolks and cornstarch.
- 2 bring to a boil over medium heat.
- 3 remove from the heat and stir in the coconut and walnuts.
- 4 cool to room temperature before frosting cake.
