Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unprocessed natural bran
- 3/4 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup wholemeal plain flour
- 1/2 cup raw sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup sultana
- 2/3 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
Recipe
- 1 in a bowl combine bran, coconut, flour, sugar, oats, sesame seeds,pecans and sultanas.
- 2 melt butter and honey, add to dry mixture.
- 3 stir in lightly beaten eggs.
- 4 thoroughly combine all ingredients.
- 5 firmly press mixture into a lightly greased 28 cm x 18 cm slice tin.
- 6 bake 25 minutes in moderate oven or till golden brown.
- 7 cool before slicing.
