Flaky Lemon Honey Buns

Ingredients

- 1 (8 ounce) can crescent rolls
- 3 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut flakes
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon softened butter
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f .
- 2 unroll crescent rolls dough; arrange into 2 large rectangles.
- 3 overlap long sides or rectangles to shape a 13 x 7-inch rectangle.
- 4 firmly press together edges and perpeforations to seal.
- 5 into a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, coconut flakes, honey and 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
- 6 blend until smooth.
- 7 spread mixture over dough.
- 8 roll-up dough, starting at a longer side.
- 9 press edges to seal.
- 10 cut roll into 12 slices; arrange onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- 11 bake into preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
- 12 remove from heat; leave to cool.
- 13 into a clean small bowl, beat together remaining 1 tablespoon lemon juice, icing sugar and softened butter into a glaze.
- 14 drizzle glaze over still warm buns.
